Although the goal is to gain weight, you shouldn’t consume too much junk food in the process. There are healthy ways of gaining weight quickly, so be sure to resort to these healthier options instead of consuming a lot of unhealthy food.

Start by calculating your calorie need and always make sure you consume more calorie each day. Consuming more calories means your body will have more energy. Combined with a good exercise program, you can add muscle mass instead of body fat, allowing you to gain weight while still remaining as health as ever.

Instead of eating larger portions, you should focus on increasing the frequency of your meals. Make sure you have proper breakfast – a nice plate of whole grain toasts with peanut butter is all you need – and that you have healthy snacks in between lunch and dinner. Whole grain crackers with slices of cheese in the afternoon will also help you gain weight healthily.
